what if the incompatible sign is your son?

I would like to ask whether this table is valid for all kinds of relationships and partnerships. What if the person from the incompatible sign is your child? I am monkey and my son is pig. So far our relationship is great - he is 6 years old. Would this be the same when he is a teenager? Can something be done for the two signs to work well together?
