where does the train leave?

The text says that the trains are leaving from Guangzhou South, but if I follow the link to the Guangzhou departues it claims that trains to Hong Kong Kowloon leaves from Guangzhou East  - anybody experience where it actually takes off?

There is a through train from Guangzhou East that takes you into Hong Kong Hung Hom.  The fast train from Guangzhou South presently only takes you to Shenzhen where you can take the metro to the Hong Kong border.
