About:Shanghai Metro Maps

Hi, just wondering, how fast is the subway in Shanghai? For example, how long would it take to reach 7 stops?

I'm planning to book accommodation at SH Respond Apartment Hotel for 6 nights. Is it close enough to walk to the Metro station or do I need to take a taxi? If so, how much would the taxi cost to get to the closest metro station?

As the distance between the stations for different lines are different, it takes different time. Maybe you can specify which line you will use and will travel from which station to which station and then I can tell you the duration.

The closest metro station is Jinqiao Station, around 4km from your hotel, so you may need to take a taxi to reach. And the cab fare shall be within CNY20.

I need to go to a few places, but for example from Jinqiao station to People's square?
I was just wondering if it is more affordable/faster to take a taxi or the metro (there are 3 people travelling)
