How to do chinese visa in Beijing?

Where to apply? What documents do they need for doing How many days for getting passport back?

I am wondering if the applicant is already in Beijing. If he is, he must hold valid type for his current stay in Beijing. Then he can ask for the extension or renew his current one. As for the requirements, it depends on which type he is going to renew or extend. The normal processing time is seven working days.
