Is Shenzhen Happy Valley open during Winter?

Hi, my friend and I are travelling there from 30/12/2013 to 4/1/2014 - will the park be open? Are there any special celebrations for New Years Eve?

Yes, it is still open in winter, during your travel.
During Dec. 14th, 2013 and Jan. 1st, 2014, there are many activies to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. You will enjoy the concert, firworks and count down on Dec. 31.
