About:Beijing Weather in December

im planning to go to Beijing on 2jan-7jan 2014. do i need to wear a specific winter shoes or can i just wear sneakers ?

If you are from hot place, it is suggested to wear winter shoes or boots, as the lowest temperature would drop to -7C during that period.
