About:Best Time to Visit China

Exploring China by bullet train

We want to visit China(Beijing Shanghai and Guangzhou) in February or March 2014.Our travel to China will start from Guangzhou then to Shanghai and Beijing.What should we do after landed at Guangzhou International Airport from Kuala Lumpur.Our transit in Guangzhou will be 2 days,Shanghai 2 days and Beijing 4 days.Thank you very much.

Hi, for your two days in Guangzhou, you are suggested to visit Yuexiu Park, White Cloud Mountain, Momerial Hall of Sun Yat-sen as well as Chimelong Resort. For shopping, local Shangxia Jiulu and Beijing Road are the best choices. At night, you can go to Haizhu Plaza to take a night cruise to enjoy the Pearl River. After your trip in Guangzhou, I suggest you fly to Shanghai and it takes 2h to 2h and 20min, as there is no bullet train service for this journey.

In Shanghai, the Bund/Huangpu River, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jin Mao Tower, Xintiandi, Nanjing Road Yuyuan Garden as well as Qibao Ancient Town cannot be missed. And Shanghai Maglev derserves a try.

At Shanghai Hongqiao Train Station or local main railway station, there are bullet trains to Beijing. Upon getting there, I recommend Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, 798 Art Zone as well as Badaling or Mutianyu Great Wall to you.
