About:Dianchi Lake Scenic Area

Any good places for bird watching or nature in Kunming

Thinking of visiting KM during the Chinese New Year period in 2014. Anyone has any ideas about nature and bird watching? Thanks in advance.

Dianchi Lake (Haigeng Park) is a good place to see birds.

Do you know of any bird list that you can forward to me? Leo, are there any good, clean hotels near the lake that you can recommend? I am really at a lost here as I have never been to KM before.
