About:Suzhou Weather

Hello. We are planning to visit Suzhou between 10th to 15th January 2014 from Beijing. Is it a good time to visit?

Will it be too cold or would it be a rainy season then? If we are driving down from Shanghai, where we will stop over from Beijing, how long would the road journey be. Would staying 2 nights at SZ be enough? Thanks. Best regards. Merry Christmas

Yes, it is coldest time for both of the two cities. The average temperature in SZ is around 1 to 8C and sometimes, the lowest temperature may reach below zero. In Beijing, the average temperature is around -8 to 0C, although most of the time are sunny days.
the distance between SH and BJ is around 1300km and it takes about 13 hours if driving fast. It is hard for me to tell you where you can stop over from Beijing, because I never drove. i usually fly or take bulle trains.
2 nights are enough for SZ.
Hope these information can help you.
