About:Mount Emei

Hi I wish to stay overnight at Mt Emei to catch the sun rise the next day (Anyone has ideas where to stay?).

Thing is I have a train at Chengdu the next day at 1pm. If the sunrise is at 8am, anyone knows if its possible to make it down in time and take the bus/train back to Chengdu in time to catch my train? Thanks!

There are only 3 hotels there if you wanna stay on the mount:
1. 金顶山庄 Jinding Resort
2.乡怀里酒店 Xiang Huai Li Hotel
3. 金顶大酒店 Golden Peak/Top Hotel (Jinding Hotel)

To my experience, time shall be enough to catch your train at 13:00 after seeing sunrise, but you should hurry up though!

It is suggested to go to Baoguosi Bus Station at the foot of the Mount, where there are direct buses to Chengdu city. Upon arrival at Chengdu, you can take a taxi to the railway station to catch your train.
