About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

melbourne to china

if we meet the requirements for a 72 hour free transit are there any physical papers required or is it just an automatic visa given you stay at the airport for less than 72 hours?

You just need to show your passport and flight ticket to apply for the free transit permit after arrival at the airport. No other papers needed. With the free permit in hand, you can go out to visit the city.
