Apply Visa For Student Exchange

Hi. I'm Afin
I want to go to China (Shuzou and Shanghai) on January 2014 till March 2014 (45 days). So I cannot apply for tourist visa because I will stay more than 30 days. And My travel agent said that I should have Invitation Letter from China but it has to be send via Post. Its true? Its possible if the Invitation Letter send thru email? And if its not, can I extend it in China?
Thank You

Regards,
Afin

Hi, if you visit for student exchange, you need to get an invitation letter from the university/school. The letter can be in the form of fax, photocopy or computer printout, but the consular officer may require the applicant to submit the original.
If you do not have any contact there, you can apply for tourist L, it can be extend once.
