About:Lijiang Transportation

Bus lijiang-tiger leaping george-shangrila

We would visit shangrila after stay several days in lijiang. But in the midle way we would like to stop for a while (around 3@4 hours) at tiger leaping geoge. Then we will continue journey to shangrila on the same day. Is it possible for me to do this by public transport? How?

Yes, it is very easy to do so.
From LJ Bus Station, you can find the direct buses for Tiger Leaping Gorge and the same situation with the buses for Shangri-la. Bus can be found at Tiger Leaping Gorge Town to Shangri-la.
