About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Do we have to get VISA if will stay at china for less than 24 hrs?

We intend to join cruise in May 2014 via Star Cruises. route is from Hongkong-sanya-halong bay-hongkong., do we need to secure one in order to venture at Sanya for 1 day only?

Yes, you need to apply for it in advance. You can also contact the embassy directly for this.
