What kind I need to have for three months? Is that Non-business Exchanges and Visits (F)?

Hello,

I need to go for three months in China for research work as a PhD exchange student . Once I have been there for a Conference and I got a business type I guess . I hold Kosovo Passport .

Yes, you need to apply F type with an invitation letter issued by a relevant entity or individual in China.
