About:Lijiang Attractions

Lijiang To Tiger Leaping Gorge onto Shangri la

Going from LJ to Tiger Leaping Gorve and move onto Shangri la on 2 Jan 14. Mode of transport as we have 2 quite big
trolley luggage bags? Best time to leave LJ? Where to place luggage? Advice to stay a night at Hutiaoxia Town or
can proceed to Shangri la?

If you have big luggages, it is suggested to hire a car, put your luggage on the car and ask the driver to wait for you.
It is suggested to leave LJ in the morning, so that you can reach Qiaotou at noon and have lunch there. It is suggested to stay one night in Hutiaoxia.

Thanks Bob. A night at Hutiaoxia or at Tiger L Gorge? Any suggestion on a comfortable hotel/guest house to stay?

Hutiaoxia is the Pinyin version of Tiger Leaping Gorge, so I mean you may need to stay one night in the gorge.
For living, the HALFWAY and the Tina's are suggested to stay overnight.

They should be open, except when it rains or snows heavily.
