About:Shantou Travel

How long it takes to goto Foshan from shantou by Flight orby Train or by Bus..?

1.I want to know the cheapest mode to reach Foshan from ST?by Train or by Bus or by Air...??
2.What will be cost by Air, Train and Bus...?
3.What will be timings for each..?
4.How long it takes for each mode of Transport..?

As I know, the only direct transportation is the direct bus from ST Long Distance Bus Station at No. 61, Qinshan Road.
The buses are at 09:25, 10:35, 11:35, 15:40 and 18:10 and it takes about five hours. The bus fare is around 130HK$.

Yes. Thank you very much for your prompt reply & much obliged; though the other options by Air and train was missing.
If possible, you can forward me the same when you get the answers for other options as well. Because , I can plan my next trip effectively & conveniently.

Hi, Gownder.
I did not tell you the other options, because there are no direct trains or flights between the two places.
There is no airport in Foshan, so if you want to take flight, you need fly from Shantou to Guangzhou and the flight takes about 55 minutes. The ticket fare is suggested to search on the official website of airlines and only the Southern airline operates this journey. Then from Guangzhou Jiaokou Bus Station, you can find direct buses for Lecong. The bus fare is around 10RMB and it takes about one hour.

If you want to take the train, you still need to take the trains for Guangzhou first and change to buses from GZ to Lecong.

Yes.. I am familiar with Guangzhou & Foshan area. No probs. ST city...only problem; hence I was asking all the queries. Anyway..now I am very clear & I can plan my trip accordingly.
