About:Chinese Embassy in Brunei

can i apply d visa at the embassy in brunei?

i am a Malaysian and currently holding a visitor pass n staying with my relatives in brunei.

I am afraid you can't. Those who apply in the third country or region must provide legal status, for example resident permit. By the way, if you want to apply for the D type, you should provide the confirmation form given by the Ministry of Public Security of PRC (both original and copy).
