Students from China will be returning home during Christmas break. I would like to send a small gift to their parents.

Is chocolate made in America appropriate and will it be okay through customs if its wrapped ?

The chocolate is ok and it can pass the custom it is wrapped. It is suggested to write it clear on the package and the whole weight is not more than 2kg.

It always depends on what kind of chocolate ypu are talking about because some people might be alergic to certain types of chocolate and some are not alergic to certain types of chocolate.
