how to apply a visa to shanghai from kl?

Iam going to shanghai alone for holiday  on 30/5/14-5/6/14.when I suppose to apply for one? How much? Where to apply.lam a malaysian

You should apply from the CVASC branch in KL around one month in advance before you fly to PRC. The cost is 85 Malaysian dollars for a sing entry. The processing time is four working days.
