My son is going to Taiwan in January 14 for twelve month exchange we are wondering what to pack

It is pleasant and warm throughout the year, with the annual temp of around 21C. But th rainfall is very dense in this area and June to October is its typhoon season. Considering all, I suggest you take enough summer clothes and T-shirt, jacket and jeans as well as sandals and sports shoes for your son. Of course, umbrella and other rainy gear would be must.
