About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Where to find the official statement of Chongqing's new 72 hour visa policy?

Hi there,

All the information I can find on Chongqing's 72 hour visa rule is on news site and on Chongqing's official English site.

My airline is not convinced and won't let me board the plane. Does anyone know where I can find an updated official statement? It's kinda' urgent.

Thanks.

Hi, I entrusted one of my Chinese friend to contact the Chongqing Airport directly for this, the responsible airport authority said to her that the airport is still under processing of relevant documents to finally carry out the 72 hour free transit policy. So, the time of real operation is uncertain.

Hi Kenny,

Thanks for your answer - In a world overloaded with news, its unbelievable that this is not updated on any sites at all, let alone Chongqing's official site. Then again, the Chinese politicians where never the most informative to begin with.

Thanks again for the effort.
