Question

Dear people, I have  been in china now for 4 months. i have followed your steps to get me and my baby chinese visa type L from chicago. we both have a U.S passports. Now, my husband's company paper work became offical. His trading and shiping company is under his name and another chinese person's name. He lives in china with a Z which is much easier and cheaper to get. Its so hard for me to travel with my baby every 3 months to macau espacially with my baby' age is 15 months. is there is any way I can get myself and my baby's into my husbands Z? or is it possible for me to apply for a z? and what are the requirments? would they accepet it if i showed my husnad's paper work and our marriage certificate? is there is anything i can do at all to prevent going back to the border gate ever 3 or 6 months?

Hi, you are suggested to visit the local PSB for extension, or try to apply for a family visit S1 type if you plan to stay for more than 6 months. As I know, the conversion between L and S1 is not allowed within China. If possible, you need to apply in HK instead of returning back to USA for application. Your husband's paper work and marriage certificate are helpful.
