About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

Stay Visa in Guangzhou Baiyun airport

My friends are coming from India to USA with Indian passports with 15 hours stay in Baiyun. Can they get stay visa for 12 hours to visit the city? Is it free?
If they decide to stay at Pullman hotel instead of waiting at the airport, do they need to apply for stay visa?

The visa is not needed, but you need to apply for a stay permit in the airport.
The documents for applying your stay permit are the hotel booking order or certificate and your departure fligth tickets. There is no charge for applying a stay permit.

Can I get stay visa to visit the city. I do not want to stay in the hotel.

No visa is needed to visit the city. Actually, you can directly have a visit in Guangzhou with the stay permit I mentioned above.
