About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Flying in and out from a different airport?

Hello there,

I have a ticket from HK to Shanghai International Airport, then within 72 hours another ticket from Shanghai to Denpasar, Bali from Shanghai Pu Dong Airport. The tickets have been booked separately.

Is it ok to arrive at one airport and leave from a different one if I would like to use the free transit visa?

Thanks a lot.

Yes, you are allowed to transit via two airports in Shanghai under 72 hour exemption regulations.
