About:Chinese Consulate in San Francisco

Do I need a visa if I stay less than 24 hours in Wuhan and I want to leave the airport?

I am going to India, my flight has a 23 hours stop in Wuhan. I would like to leave the airport and rest in a hotel. Thanks

You needn't apply one but you should apply for the stay permit if you want to leave the airport.
