About:History of Silk Road

Did the Silk Road impact China in any other way than trade, culture and resources?

Besides those aspects, it is very important on religion transfering. Many religions such as the Buddism was introduced to China through that road. Meanwhile, the road connects China and other countries and these relationship were useful when wars happened.
