About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Work Visa for China.

Hi,

My friend is going to be coaching in China on a 2 year contract and needs to apply for a Work (Z). We're unsure about how many entries he should apply for, or if he should apply for a 12 month multiple entry and try and obtain a Temporary Residence Permit while there to extend his stay.

Can you please advise?

Thank you,

Hi, a single entry is enough because Z holders are required to apply for a residence permit based on their working contract. The residence permit allows multiple entries.
