About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

How can I ask the airlines to arrange the transit permit?

Would it be applicable if I would be flying from Manila to Hong Kong via Shanghai? Because I would like to visit Shaghai during the same trip. And what's the possibility of not getting the permit?

Plus what's the policy of asking the airlines to arrange the permit?

Hi, you can take advantage of this free transit in Shanghai as long as your stopover is less than 72 hours. First, inform your airline when you check in before boarding the plane to China and fill a form with your information, so that they can email your information to the airport. Then, after getting off the plane you just need to fill in the Arrival & Departure Card and show your ticket and passport to get this free tranist stamp.
