About:Chinese Consulate in Zurich

I must fly to Beijing on November 27, 2013 and need a visa.

I am an Italian citizen residing in Lugano (Switzerland). Are there approved agencies in Lugano or Milan (Italy) which may handle my application without me having to go to the Consulate in Zurich? If not, would I be able to obtain it at the Chinese consulate in Milan (Italy) even if I am not an italian resident? Much obliged for your prompt replay.
Regards,
Massimo Fantechi

Hi, you can entrust someone else or a travel agency to handle your application if you do not want to visit the Consulate in person. And if you are an Italian passport holder, you can apply through CVASC in Milan, which offers the outbound post service. So, you can ask your friend to lodge in your application on your behalf.
