Need I transit visa for 8 hrs transit in shanghai pu dong?

I will take Chinese eastern airline from singapore to Paris and will transit in shanghai pu dong for 8 hrs. I'm Indonesia citizen tq

I think you needn't apply for a G or any other type because you just transit less than 24 hours in Shanghai.
