I suggest you take a taxi to travel from Tianfu Square to Xinnanmen Bus Station, where there are direct long-distance buses to Jiuzhaigou. Nearly all buses for this journey leave in the monring, from 07:10 to 08:30, with the interval of 5-10min. Or you can also take the direct bus at local Chadianzi Bus Station, where the last bus leaves at 19:10. It takes 9-10h and costs CNY118-145 per person.

For the back journey, there are five buses in operation, leaving Jiuzhaigou at 06:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 and 8:10 and the bus fare is CNY145 per person.

By the way, the bus from Jiuzhaigou to CD city will take you to Xinnanmen Bus Station.

Thanks Shelly for the prompt reply. Is Xinnanmen Bus Station near to any Subway station? From CD to JiuZhaiGou, take how long? Where to take the eco-tourist bus? Is it possible to cover JiuZhaiGou in 1 day or must stay overnight?

Yes, there is. The nearest metro station from the Bus Station is Huaxiba Station, 700m away between.

The long-distance bus between CD city and Jiuzhaigou takes around 9-10h. As for the eco-tourist bus, you can easily take that at the tikcet office near the main entrance of the valley and I remember it stops at many scenic spots to let passengers up and down.

Although it would be a little bit rush to cover all the attraction in one day, but it is possible. After that, you can rent a car to Huanglong and stay there for a night and visit in the next day.
