About:China Visa Application in USA

Hi, My wife & I are taking a 11 day tour in China. What type of Documents do we need to obtain Visa?

We are both U.S.Citizens.Do we need to both be present for the application process? How much lead time should we allow for processing. Wil we need to leave our passports with the consulant? do you have a consulant in Fresno Ca.

For tourist L application, you can provide inviation letter from a travel agency if any. Or you can provide round-trip ticket and hotel booking instead. You can either apply in person or entrust someone else/agencies to handle it on your behalf. The regular processing takes 4 working days, and the embassy will keep your passports.
