Date of Fist Entry on Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit.

Hi,

I have received my "Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit" this week "Date of Fist Entry" on the same is Jan 31st 2014.

The letter sent by my company to The Consulate General states "Provide a working Visa starting from Jan, 2014"

Now this question is can I travel to China before Jan 31st 2014 or after Jan 31st 2014.

I intend to travel in 1st week of December. Would there be any issue while applying for Z with these details at China Embassy in Delhi?

Hi, it is ok but you are required to apply for a residence permit within 30 days after entry with the Z. Because the single entry visa is issued with 30 days only as duration of stay. It expires if you enter too early. Please contact the company first if they will help you with the process of residence permit if you come to China one month earlier than working contract begins.
