About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

With a 60 day, double entry (L) visa, how long can I stay, assuming I leave every 60 days?

I'm still not clear how this works. If I have an L for 60 days, can I enter for the first 60 days on my first entry and then leave/enter on my second entry buying me another 60 days? ...for a total of 120 days?

Do I need an invitation letter for a L?

Thanks!

If the "duration of each entry" issued to your L is 60 days, that means you can leave every 60 days, so the total stay can be 120 days.

Thanks Erica,

And if this was the case would I have to show them a full itinerary, including date of departure? I assume I would still have to show a hotel reservation, though this is for a longer term stay?

Thanks!

Yes, you have to show documents showing your need of double entries to mainland PRC. So tickets and hotel bookings are required. You can write your full itinerary in the application form.
