About:Hong Kong Visa Application

Is there a HK visa office in Guangzhou? Do we need travel details for weekend shopping trips?

I don't need it, but my wife is Lebanese and she needs one. We live in Guangzhou and were hoping to get to travel there once a month for sight-seeing and shopping. We don't have a local sponsor, we know nobody there, and we don't have any travel itinerary because she doesn't have a visa and we won't make plans till she does. Is there any office here in Guangzhou and do we need to submit all the particular details if we're only planning on taking a train/bus down for a weekend every now and then?

Hi, you can entrust a local travel agency to handle this for her. Or you have to send application directly to HK immigration department. For the requirements, you should better provide round-trip ticket and hotel bookings. BTW, your Chinese visa and residence permit can be helpful.
