how is the weather in beijing and shanghai in March ?? Planning a visit in March 2014

It will be still cold in Beijing, with the temperature ranging from -3C to 12C. In early March, a sweater and a thick jacket/coat are enough, but take an extra outer layer, gloves and hat in case of strong winds and a sharp fall in temperature.

Shanghai will be warmer than Beijing and its temp range shall be from 5C to 13C. Bring sweater and overcoat for early March. Light coat and relatively thick long-sleeve shirts are enough under the sun.
