About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shanghai (L visa) - somewhere else - Shanghai 72 hrs ?

Hi I am an Icelandic citizen. I currently am in Shanghai on a tourist ( L ) and I have a scheduled flight from here on the 19th of december. If I would want to fly to another country and then go back to Shanghai for my flight would I enjoy the 72 hour transit policy? because my current L does not offer more entries
