About:Hong Kong Visa Application

I've been to Hongkong for the past three years visa-free and now there are news that they will be cancelling visa free for Philippines going to Hongkong.

Am I be able to apply for one in Chinese embassy?

Yes, that is true. You can have a try to apply for a HK visa through Chinese embassy or consulate.
