About:Yinchuan

about visa for swedish and norwegian backpackers.

We are a couple that is traveling for some months in Asia. we wish to go to mainland in china perhaps for 1 month in Januar 2014 (tourist type). can we apply for it from kathmandu? and what is the cost?

Hi, if you plan to visit China in January 2014, you can apply for Chinese tourist L in advance in your home country because a single entry is valid for 3 months after issue date.

Right now we are in india, and then we are going to nepal and then perhaps china. Is it possible to get one in nepal? what would you suggest when we cant get in from our homelands?

In fact, to get one in Nepal is possible with valid Nepal visa. But as I know it is difficult to apply in India. You can also try to apply for a tourist L in HK in case you can not get one in Nepal.
