I think you may mean the SH Urban Planning Exhibition Center Station, right?
If so, from your hotel, you can take a taxi to reach Dongchuan Road Station where you can take the subway line 5 to reach Xinzhuang Station and then change to line 1 to People's Square Station.
Get out of the station, you can walk the urban planning exhibition center station directly.

I am afraid that there is no direct bus service unless you take the taxi.
The stops of the sightseeing buses are close to each other and among them the Huaihai Middle Road Station is much closer.
