About:China Train

Could I pick the prepaid tickets in a railway station the day I arrive in China ?

I want to travel by rail from Shanghai to Nanjing the day I arrive in Shanghai by plane. Can I book and prepay the tickets from abroad and get them in Shanghai railway station before the train leaves (I have no delivery address in China) ?

yes, you can. you can also pick up the ticket the railway ticket office in Shanghai Pudong airport (if you arrive at the airport).
