Taxis after midnight in Shanghai

Hi, I'm arriving in Pudong Airport at midnight and need to get to Hongqiao airport by 7:00AM the next morning but would like to explore the city in between that time. What is the best way to travel and will anything be open that early/ late?

You mean you plan to visit the city duing midnight?
If so, it may be hard for you. It is hardly to find some places to appreciate yourself unless some night bars.
At midnight, there is no shuttle bus to reach Hongqiao airport, but you can take the shuttle bus night line to reach Hongxu Rd (Yan'an Rd) and then take a taxi to reach the airport the next morning.
The taxi fare is high.
