What was the tang's greatest accomplishments?

Here is just what I know:
1. The economic development reached the peak during Chinese history in Tang period.
2. Two of the famous Chinese Four Inventions were invented then: gunpowder and printing.
3. The diplomacy affiairs then were persperous. Besides, many Chinese students went to other countries for learning and many people came to China for learning as well.
