About:Chinese Embassy in Qatar

Can we apply visit visa to HongKong from Qatar?

Hi! I am from Philippines and presently working here in Doha with my wife & son. My wife has relatives in Hong Kong and we want to experience the Disneyland. Do we need to apply and fill-up application form individually? How long can we stay for visit in maximum days?

Hi, you are exempted from visa to HK for 14 days, but you may need to prepare an invitation letter from her relatives and copies of their identity card if HK citizen. BTW, for entry to HK, you should show your return ticket and hotel bookings, and travel itinerary if any.

You should apply in advance through Chinese embassy, with round-trip ticket and hotel bookings. Sometimes, you may be asked to show a bank statement with sufficient money to cover your stay there. The rate should be based on at least US$100 per day.
