I noticed this question was asked back in 2010. so I want to know if it is stlll free in 2013.

The free entrance policy is still on, but it is only available for Taiwanese Citizens of people with ROC ID.The rules tells that foreign tourists must purchase museum admissions at all times except on the following dates: January 1, Lantern Festival Day, May 18, September 27and October 10.
