About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Narita- Shanghai - Hong Kong -Shanghai- Narita

I got my tickets to Hong Kong, but they were issued by different airlines. My first flight will be Narita -Shanghai (issued by all Japan Airlines) I will have 2 hours connection in Shanghai to board Shanghai - Hong Kong (Dragon Air). The returning is same route. Will I be under the policy for transit?

Yes, sure. You can avail this free transit permit for your stay in Shanghai. Actually, nothing is required if you will not leave the airport during the 2 hr stopover.
