My boyfriend is a sheep and I'm a monkey, what should we do ?

We've been together a year and I do get tired of him being unrealistic with goals so he lets me take charge and set our goals, but not in a pushy way. I like him to focus on me a lot but he doesn't have the time I need. However, I deal because he's such a sweetheart. Although I can be sneaky, I'm not and I'm faithful. In fact, he's the one that talked to other girls at the start of our relationship, but we're passed that and the last few months have been pretty decent. Are we doomed though?
