Authentication of non-criminal police history check

I am applying for a work Visa for Tianjin (Teda) and 1 of the requirement is to provide an authenticated non-criminal police history check. I am an Australian citizen currently living in Singapore and have the original Australian Federal Police criminal check on me. As my attempt to authenticate this document from Singapore has been unsuccessful, I need to organise my family member based in Sydney to authenticate this on my behalf at the DFAT and Chinese Consular in Sydney, NSW.

Which documents do I need to provide (original + photocopies) from myself the applicant and my proxy?

Before you take it to the consulate in your area, you have to make sure that it has been notarized by any notary public and authenticated by the Department of Australian Foreign Affairs and Trade or its office in your state. Most importantly, you have to go to the consulate in your consular area for the authentication. If you go to any other consulate or the embassy directly, your submission will not be accepted.

You should provide these documents:
1. A filled application form (both hand-written and printed versions are ok).
2. original and copies of the documents to be authenticated.
3. original and a copy of your passport information page.
4. If your proxy is your family or friend, he must provide his/her ID card and a copy of your ID card, and a letter of authorisation (if nessary).

It costs around 30 Australian dollars.
