No I got my visa from SHanghai I am living in Shanghai for more than 3 years now . DOcuments if your married to chinese need marriage certificate but your marriage certificate must authorized from chinese embassy in your country and need to prove bank funds if your working company licences stuff and a letter from your wife. Its easy if you are married and have family.

HI Marry well as your husband from Shenzhen I am not quiet sure what type of requirements on that area needed , but myself I am living in Shanghai I feel straight forward . Well Yes I have 3 months visa which they will give me two times for some policy then he will give me 2 years which i can renew yearly then and i can go in and out from country anytime within the 2 years feels good :)

Well before I have obtain 3 times 6 months with 1 entry from shanghai and 2 times 1 year multiple from my country. So it runs out now so they start up giving me now the new Q type. Documents my marriage certificate but if you married in china thats ok if not u must certify from ur country embassy and bank statements company licences husbands or yourself a letter from your husband temporary police registration and you can give your hukuo too . pretty much thats it but i suggest to reconfirm from your area exit entry .good luck

Hi Rohan,

Thanks for the response.

About the visas in previous, i always have a multiple entry with no compliance of going out , and all i acquired in china through extension under spouse L (1 year) since 2007 december till now.

About the bank statements either myself or my husband base to your experience probably how much amount they required to reflect the amount inside the bank account? beside the licenses or any source of income that we have.

As i know these are the requirements but we are not certain if how much is the least amount that we need to present. Any hint is highly appreciated base to your own experience.

Thanks

Mary

Hi, this Q2 is good as I read you post. You only need to leave mainland once time then start a new 180 days. It is the best type issued to Q2 actually.

Thats Funny though I am Sri Lanka married to Chinses and living in shanghai for 3 years now the officer said they will issue me 2 time 3 months with 0 entries and said dont leave china then I he will give me 2 years residence permit. I think because I got like 4 times 6 months with 1 entry before from shanghai so they can see . I dont if its the same as yours ?

hi, is q2 available for 1 yr? what are the requirements you submitted? have you apply this in PRC i mean have you change your L spouse one to Q2 or outside the mainland then acquired the 1 yr q2 within mainland for extension?

Awaiting for your positive feedback.

Thanks

Hi Roah, And what happened to your application? have they give you a 2 times 3 months with a zero entry? And have you acquired a 2 year residence permit? I would like to ask in previous if your availing a residence premit or a L spouse type in Shanghai for your extension?

Anyways what are the requirements you submitted for your application under spouse type, as for us my husband have their own house and hukou in his hometown however we are residing here in shenzhen since 2007 as couple in fact every year i am getting an L multiple one no compliance of doing an exit or entry since then but for this new rule i am confuse if which one we need to apply as am still holding an L spousal one at the moment.

Do we need to go back to my husband hometown to apply or just where we are residing and renting a house same like what we are doing in 2007 till 2012. Can a L type be converted into Q2 without leaving or.....

Thanks

q2 visa is valid for 2 years, not 1. you must leave China every 180 days, but this is not a burden. I always go to hong kong for the night as this counts as leaving China. not a big problem, and I'm in Tianjin
